Our Design Hotel competed against a number of hoteliers in the region to achieve this recognition and become the recipient of the Signum Virtutis, the Seal of Excellence. The Seven Star Global Luxury Awards, by the bestowing of the Signum Virtutis, serves as a guarantee to the luxury consumer that the recipients are truly the best in the industry. Winners of the Seven Star Global Luxury Award 2013 were disclosed at a prestigious dinner at Villa Padierna Palace Hotel in Spain on the 28th of June 2013. Among the winners of the Award are well known in hospitality sphere hotels: The Dolder Grand in Switzerland, W Istanbul in Turkey, Martinez in Cannes and Grand Hotel du Cap-Ferrat in France, Waldorf Astoria in New York, Shangrila in Hong Kong, One&Only in Cape Town.
